The PVC is a low density thermoplastic, high stiffness and X -ray resistant. In addition, it is very little permeable to water and resistant to high temperatures (<135ºC) and to blows.
PVC injection molds require stainless steel (usually DIN 1,2316 or DIN 1,2083) if we want to have a lasting mold life. These types of molds have a higher level of maintenance than the molds that are used in the processing of other raw materials.
For the correct manufacture of this type of pieces, it is essential that the PVC injective machine has a special and suitable plastification group.
Mold tuning as well as the ideal adjustment of the necessary injection parameters in the use of this type of molds are essential for obtaining high quality parts.
